In the pharmaceutical and life science industries, innovation and compliance are essential. Yet, at the heart of every organisation lies an equally important asset: people. At IWT, we believe that strong teams are built not only through technical expertise and operational excellence, but also through shared values, collaboration and a genuine sense of social responsibility.
This year, our team had the opportunity to take part in a corporate social responsibility (CSR) team-building experience at Cascina Verde, a rehabilitation community recognised by the Lombardy Region for its commitment to the study and treatment of addiction. Far from a traditional team-building exercise, this initiative allowed our colleagues to engage directly with a community that dedicates its work to supporting individuals on their path to recovery.
Throughout the day, we listened to powerful stories of resilience, participated in hands-on activities together with the residents and experienced firsthand the importance of creating inclusive environments where trust, respect and mutual support drive real change. This shared experience strengthened our internal cohesion and reinforced the principles that shape our culture: accountability, empathy, collaboration and long-term commitment to the communities in which we operate.
The impact of this day extends beyond the activities themselves. It serves as a reminder that corporate responsibility is not an abstract concept, but a strategic pillar that can generate tangible value—both within our organisation and in society at large.
